Critical Role promotes the game by streaming it on their Twitch channel to their 1.3 million fans . The cast of Critical Role has remained tight-lipped about "The Legend of The Mighty Nein," their second Amazon-backed animated series. "We're heavy in development on Campaign Two's animated series right now, and it's coming along so well," Mercer told me. The e-mini futures contracts tied to the S & P 500 just posted their third negative "outside day" in the past eight sessions. Outside days happen when the range of a security's price sees higher highs and lower lows than it did the day before. The previous day's trading period should be smaller in range and should have closed higher. It also posted negative outside days on April 4 and April 1. Chart analysts are shrugging off the recent trio of outside down days, however, saying they don't threaten the longer-term up trend.

Eric Baradat | AFP | Getty ImagesA hotter-than-expected consumer price index reading rattled markets Wednesday, but markets are buzzing about an even more specific prices gauge contained within the data — the so-called supercore inflation reading. Along with the overall inflation measure, economists also look at the core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, to find the true trend. The supercore gauge, which also excludes shelter and rent costs from its services reading, takes it even a step further. Today, he added, the picture is more complicated because some of the most stubborn components of services inflation are household necessities like car and housing insurance as well as property taxes. In 1970, more than two-thirds of American adults between 25 and 49 lived with a spouse and at least one kid. For a society structured around the ideal of the nuclear family, its demise has left everyone wondering: What happens now? Without one partner focused on full-time housekeeping, the amount of work required to run a nuclear family isn't really feasible. It doesn't take much of a mental leap to see why capitalism and the nuclear family make for such cozy bedfellows. Coontz, a leading historian of the American family, notes that every family structure comes with its own set of distinct weaknesses, strengths, and possibilities.

U.S. crude oil futures might be showing signs of a break out after topping $80 this week, though some analysts caution against reading too much into the move. The move higher came after the International Energy Agency forecast a crude supply deficit this year and Ukraine attacked several oil refineries in Russia. U.S. crude performed the same pattern this week, wiping out and closing above last week's intraday high of $80.67. U.S. crude has also held above its 200-day moving average of $78.13 a barrel almost all month, he said. As the market enters a supply deficit this year, Riyadh could start rolling barrels back on the market, Melek said.

A UN investigation found that an Israeli tank deliberately targeted identifiable journalists. A second report commissioned by Reuters affirmed that the Israeli tank crew "likely" opened machine gun fire on the journalists. Grey whales have been extinct from the Atlantic Ocean since the 18th century. Scientists were thrilled to see the whale, but its presence is probably linked to climate change. Researchers with the New England Aquarium in Boston found the gray whale while flying 30 miles south of Nantucket, Massachusetts, on March 1. Gray whales were almost hunted to extinction during the era of commercial whaling. They also sound very different — while humpback whales are known for their haunting songs, gray whales make gurgles, grunts and croaks.

"It's certainly a good advertisement for the benefit of Elon Musk," Kevin O'Brien, partner at Ford O'Brien Landy LLP and former assistant U.S. attorney, told CNBC. In the suit, Musk's lawyers say they want OpenAI to return to its work as a research lab and no longer exist for the "financial benefit" of Microsoft. “It isn't just sort of creepy,” said Washington state Rep. Vandana Slatter, the sponsor of a law her state adopted last year to rein in unauthorized use of health information. X-Mode was also found to have sold location data to the U.S. military. In Virginia, legislation that would prohibit the issuance of search warrants, subpoenas or court orders for electronic or digital menstrual health data recently cleared both chambers of the Democratic-controlled General Assembly. “The next step to enforcing an abortion ban could be accessing menstrual health data, which is why I’m trying to protect that data,” Favola said in a committee hearing. “The software supply chain is extremely polluted with location tracking of individuals,” he said.

NEW YORK (AP) — The maker of ChatGPT is now diving into AI-generated video. The model can also generate video from an existing still image. Getting an AI system to generate videos is newer and more challenging but relies on some of the same technology. Still, industry analysts stress the apparent quality and and impressive length of Sora videos shared so far. Although Sora's abilities have astounded observers since Thursday's launch, anxiety over ethical and societal implications of AI-generated video uses also remains.

BOSTON (AP) — Bill O’Brien will be the new head coach at Boston College, opting to return to his hometown for a top job instead of taking the offensive coordinator position at Ohio State he accepted just last month, a person with direct knowledge of the move told The Associated Press on Friday. The Boston native, who was the New England Patriots offensive coordinator last season, replaces Jeff Hafley, who left Chestnut Hill to be defensive coordinator for the Green Bay Packers. Since then, he has worked for Alabama and the Patriots as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. The Patriots went 4-13 last season and fired Bill Belichick, replacing him with Jerod Mayo. When the Eagles opened this season 1-3, Hafley’s job was in jeopardy; five straight wins earned them another bowl berth.
